    A beautiful transition! Now about those valances: It's just me, but I'm bothered by that last bit of background light showing thru on the valances. Since I'm in the thinking phase of doing this,, I think I would add some kind of blackout material to just that lower portion of the wood blind, otherwise it destroys the illusion that the window goes all the way to the ceiling.
