Rearranging the desk area = 1000% better.

I know you are right. I traveled 11 months out of the year and lived in hotels. My boss would rearrange her hotel rooms all the time to what she wanted. They don't "arrange" most hotel rooms. They just shove the furniture in. Small changes can make HUGE differences. I am a new fan of your's.

Lawd the boring hotel rooms I have seen as a Flight Attendant! You are so right, Rebecca! It wouldn't take much to update these Hotels that charge BIG BUCKS for outdated rooms.

Lol I used to be famous for doing "makeovers" where ever I went – of course, they were all in my head becuz you can't just walk into someone's apartment or house, hotel room & start doing your thing, but I sure did want to!

watching this video in 2017:) designing is in your blood Rebecca….I was wondering what you could possibly do in a hotel room, you changed the table set up and in an instance made the room feel good… super cool! 🙂 You should have a meeting with the owner of the hotel and make them sign up for remodel…wink wink 🙂

You're such a boss!!! The Hiltons should hire you! When you started moving the furniture, I was like "no she didn't", but you did! Great concept. You should do this type of thing more often!

I stayed at the Ritz in LA a few months ago…I definitely paid for the name. Horrible 70's style. Will never do it again. total waste of money. I was expecting glitz and glam….wasn't it.

I found your comment about how God guided you into your career very moving. As a child my Mother would would lose me once we walked past the household section of Hills Department store. I designed my own GI Joe bases and Drew floor plans for fun. I attended interior design school at The Ohio State University. At the time I was unaware that the reason why I struggled in school was due to ADHD and depression. Unfortunately I never graduated. I have worked many customer service related jobs that I felt were not my calling. It has been very depressing. But now when I look at the experience that I have gained I realize it was a blessing. One position introduce me to high end tabletop. I am currently employed in a call center for Verizon Wireless. My customers thank me regularly for my compassion and patience. I want so dearly to return to school to start my career. But my student loans are a hindrance. I know that God can help me overcome this. I pray that one day I may use my talent.
