I'm a new subscriber. I viewed your 2017 ID trends first. You are very talented and have an eye for interior designs and designing. Very well done and thank you for the great information and inspiration in both 2017 and 2016 ID Trends videos.

I love your videos, they are so well done! Also I appreciate that you don't put any value judgements on people's personal tastes; that is extremely refreshing especially when it comes to interior design. I love a lot of these trends from last year, some have some real staying power.

Your soft sweet southern voice is so soothing to me, it's easy on the ears! The informative pictoral dissertation on styles over the years was interesting and proves there truly is "nothing really new under the sun" so we are assured it may be out for now but it will return! Glad to have found your channel!

Why do you edit the video as though there's a thousand clips, when you only said one paragraph.

Great video! I will say, even though I'm always on the trends, I don't like mixed metals. It makes the room feel unorganized, and just not pleasing.

My modest 1950's home had been up-dated on the cheap in the 1970's before I bought it. Unfortunately my budget is 1980's (hah!) but I am trying my very best to make a nice home that makes sense. Your comparisons through the generations is quite helpful, plus you're a delight to listen to. Thank you for your expertise. I'm subscribing!

I have a 384sqft space and I'm not sure how to decorate it. I desire to use such colors as, grey, blue, white, orange or terracotta, and brown. The room will be shared between having a bedroom, living room and kitchenette area. And a separate bathroom space with a shower etc. Double French doors entry and 3 walls. The ceiling is low. What to do? I would like to stick with leather furniture for the living room.

So informative, thank you so much! I've always been interested in interior decorating and I want to start my own interior decorating company! It took me years to figure out what I wanted to do even though it was right in front of my face, and i can say that this is truly what I want to do after spending 4 years in college getting a psychology degree lol
